We are seeking a skilled and dedicated X-Ray / CT Technologist to join our Radiology team in Brooklyn. In this role, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures—including CAT scans, X-rays, and fluoroscopy—in accordance with established clinical protocols. You will play a critical role in patient care by ensuring high-quality imaging, maintaining equipment standards, and supporting physicians with accurate diagnostic information.

In this role, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures—including CAT scans, X-rays, and fluoroscopy—in accordance with established clinical protocols. You will play a critical role in patient care by ensuring high‑quality imaging, maintaining equipment standards, and supporting physicians with accurate diagnostic information.

Available Schedules
  • Sunday:8am-6pm
    Monday:1pm-11pm
    Tuesday:1pm-11pm
    Wednesday:1pm-11pm
  • Wednesday-Saturday:
    2pm-12am
    -4(10) hr shifts.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT (CAT scan), CTA, and X-ray imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
  • Prepare and educate patients on imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
  • Obtain and review patient medical histories relevant to imaging exams
  • Operate CT scanner equipment and related technology (e.g., power injectors, laser imagers)
  • Conduct fluoroscopy procedures in operating room settings
  • Transmit imaging studies via PACS and to radiologists (including STAT reads)
  • Maintain accurate logs of procedures, patient data, and imaging statistics
  • Ensure equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and in working condition
  • Maintain quality control, safety protocols, and department cleanliness
  • Respond to emergency situations, including stroke codes, and prioritize urgent imaging needs
  • Assist with quality improvement initiatives and evaluate new technologies and procedures
  • Coordinate patient scheduling and ensure availability of supplies and contrast materials
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • State Radiologic Technologist License
  • CT (CAT Scan) Certification required
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of CT scan experience
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging techniques
