- a. Proof of passing licensing examination for Professional Practice in Psychology (EPPP) by the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards (ASPPB).
- b. Application for Licensure (Form
1). - c. Certification of Professional Education (Form
2). - d. Reports of Professional Experience/Certifications of Supervised Experience (Form
4).
Note:
Post-doctoral experience in NYS must have been obtained under a NYS Limited Permit. - e. If already licensed in another State, Certification of Out-of-State Licensure and Exam Grades (Form
3) and Certification of Licensed Experience (Form 4F) should be substituted for Form 4 above.
Purpose of Position
:
This class of positions encompasses professional and/or supervisory work of varying degrees of difficulty in the field of psychology, providing psychological services to individuals and groups across various settings, including Forensic Psychiatric Evaluation Court Clinics (FPECC), which may include participation in the process of commitment of patients to institutional care. Ensures patient-centered quality care and services in support of better outcomes and improved patient experience, in accordance with all applicable local, state, and federal rules and regulations, and psychology standards of care.
All personnel perform related work.
Under direction, with broad latitude for independent or unreviewed action or decision-making, performs responsible professional and/or supervisory work in the field of psychology.
