As a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide hands-on therapy services. You will assist residents in achieving functional goals through therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and restorative care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

• Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program

• Active, unrestricted New York State Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license

• BLS certification required

• Experience in sub-acute rehab or long-term care preferred (new graduates welcome)

• Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills

• Assist in implementing individualized physical therapy treatment plans

• Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional mobility activities

• Monitor residents' responses to therapy and report progress to the Physical Therapist

• Educate residents on exercises and mobility techniques as directed

• Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation

• Ensure therapy sessions comply with clinical and regulatory standards

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support resident outcomes

• Full-Time position

• 8-hour shifts

• In-person role

• $75,000 per year (based on experience)

• $70,000 per year (new graduates welcome)

• $2,000 Sign-On Bonus
