Job Summary Transport patients, specimens and pharmaceutical goods throughout the Medical Center. Maintain rolling stock, wheelchairs and stretchers.
Essential Functions
1. Transports patients, specimens and pharmaceutical goods throughout Medical center.
* Assigned transports are completed safely, efficiently and within established time frames.
2. Routinely collects and maintains wheelchairs and stretchers (including cleaning).
* Rolling stock is clean and operational.
3. Maintains clerical records as needed.
* Log sheets are completed accurately and timely.
4. Maintains and operates pneumatic tube system when necessary.
* Completes transfers of pneumatic tube timely and efficiently. 100% compliance to departmental standards.
5. Perform related duties as required.
* Assistance is provided in emergency situations on a timely and reliable basis.
Qualifications High School Required1-3 years 1 year of experience Required Ability to read, write and comprehend English.
