Position Overview
HPA Healthcare is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant – General Surgery/Surgical First Assist for a locum tenens opportunity in Potsdam, New York beginning December 2026.
This assignment combines OR Surgical First Assist responsibilities with inpatient surgical floor coverage. The PA will primarily support General Surgery, OB/GYN, and Orthopedic patients and should have strong first-assist skills and robotic surgery experience.
The assignment offers ongoing PRN scheduling with a combination of 10- and 12-hour clinical shifts, plus optional weeknight and weekend call.

Provider Pay: $150/hour, with additional compensation available for overtime, holidays, call, and callback.
