Manager, HIM Operations & Coding

RCM Healthcare Services seeks a Manager, HIM Operations & Coding to lead health information management and coding services across client healthcare facilities. In this role, you'll oversee accurate, compliant coding, optimize HIM workflows, and manage performance of coding teams. You will collaborate with clinicians and client leaders, support audits and regulatory compliance, and drive process improvements. Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee health information management (HIM) operations and coding functions for client healthcare facilities
• Ensure timely, accurate medical record coding aligned with ICD-10, CPT, and payer requirements
• Monitor quality, productivity, and compliance metrics for coding and documentation
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and clinicians to resolve coding and documentation issues
• Develop and implement process improvements and best practices for HIM and coding workflows
• Support hiring, training, and performance coaching of coding and HIM staff
• Provide guidance on regulatory requirements, audits, and documentation standards
• Use HIM and EHR systems to track performance and produce operational reports
• Partner with sales/account teams to support new client onboarding and service delivery
• Contribute to a collaborative, mission-driven culture focused on quality and patient care impact
