Outpatient Physical Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Physical Therapist to become an integral part of our team at Echo Rehabilitation Center, located in the vibrant community of Goshen, New York. In this role, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive rehabilitation services that promote optimal recovery and enhance our patients' quality of life. This is an onsite position at our outpatient office, where you will enjoy a well-equipped treatment space filled with modern rehabilitation tools and technology. The atmosphere is collaborative, allowing you to work alongside fellow therapists, nursing staff, and other healthcare providers to create tailored treatment plans for each patient. Operating in a daily schedule of Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, you will have the opportunity to focus solely on patient care without the distractions often found in more acute settings.

• Evaluate and treat up to 7 patients each day, performing initial assessments to develop individualized therapy plans that address their specific rehabilitation needs.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education, to facilitate optimal recovery.
• Provide timely and accurate information to patients and their families, ensuring they understand treatment protocols and progress.
• Assist patients in navigating the complexities of their care plans, providing guidance and support throughout their recovery journey.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes in accordance with NYS regulations and facility policies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess patient needs and modify treatment plans as necessary.

Echo Rehabilitation Center primarily serves patients recovering from surgical procedures, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will work with a diverse patient population, including adults of various ages and backgrounds. This role allows you to make significant contributions to improving mobility and functional independence in patients who value personalized care and support.

• A valid New York State Physical Therapist License.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, and preference given to candidates holding a Master's degree (MSPT) or Doctorate (DPT) in Physical Therapy.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in outpatient rehabilitation settings.

• Experience working with diverse patient groups, particularly in outpatient therapy.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document and track patient progress efficiently.
• Demonstrated ability to develop patient-centered care plans based on individual assessments.
