This role will be based onsite in our well-equipped facility that fosters clinical excellence. Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Administer therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques tailored to each patient's needs, ensuring effective recovery.
- Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, using our electronic health records system to maintain accurate data and facilitate care coordination.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing instruction on therapy techniques and answering queries to promote understanding and compliance.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize treatment plans and ensure holistic patient care.
- Participate in daily case discussions, contributing insights that may lead to adjustments in patient care strategies.
At Echo Rehabilitation Center, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgical procedures, sports injuries, neurological disorders, and chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will directly impact recovery outcomes, helping patients regain mobility and independence following debilitating events. Your role is crucial in guiding patients through their rehabilitation journey, ensuring they receive the support and motivation they need for a successful recovery.
Qualifications- A valid New York State Physical Therapist License is required.
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is mandatory; a Master's (MSPT) or Doctorate (DPT) is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation environment, demonstrating a solid foundation in physical therapy practices.
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar rehabilitation setting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and outcomes-oriented treatment strategies will be an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
This full-time position offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we provide:
