Colorectal NP​/PA

Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) is currently seeking a highly motivated Colorectal Advanced Practice Provider to join our team. This full-time, hospital-employed position offers the opportunity to provide premier care in both an inpatient and outpatient setting. Responsibilities include patient evaluation, diagnosis and treatment, postoperative management, consultations, and followup care. REQUIRED:

• Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner's Program OR certification from an accredited NP program OR completion of an accredited Physician Assistant Program required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical setting.
• Ability to meet and maintain credentialing requirements and hospital privileges.
• Knowledge and competency in a wide range of clinical areas.
• Familiar with EHR/EMR software.

REQUIRED:

• Current NYS Nurse Practitioner licenses OR Current NYS license as a Physician Assistant with prescription privileges.
• Current BCLS, ACLS certifications.

PREFERRED:

• Active ANCC certification in relevant specialty
