Occupational Therapist

Our client, a leader in physical, occupational, and speech therapy, is seeking a talented Occupational Therapist to join their team and help patients get back to what moves them. With over 50 locations across four states and more on the way, our client is growing fast, and this is your chance to grow with them. As part of the team, you will receive a steady stream of new and existing patients, network partnerships with top health systems in the region, one-on-one mentoring for one year, ongoing education sessions, and eligibility to participate in the company’s Hand Therapy Residency program.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Assessing patients' strengths and weaknesses
• Devising creative treatment plans for individuals with injuries or muscle, nerve, joint, and bone diseases
• Providing excellent 1:1 care, spending up to 40 minutes with each patient
• Helping patients restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability
• Encouraging patients along the road to recovery
• Treating adolescents and adults with ortho, sports medicine, and splinting specialties

• NYS Occupational Therapist license
• Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success
• Basic computer skills
• CPR and first aid certification
• Experience treating general hand, elbow, and shoulder injuries
