Description
Join a thriving gastroenterology practice in the beautiful Hudson Valley as an experienced and patient-focused Advanced Practice Provider (APP) . We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to become an integral part of a collaborative healthcare team.

The practice is an independent, physician-owned, multi-specialty medical group with more than 35 locations. It is Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) designated and emphasizes patient-centered care, provider autonomy, scheduling flexibility, and genuine work-life balance.
Providers have the freedom to shape their schedules, including preferred working days and start/end times, within the needs of the practice. Many providers also have access to virtual or AI-powered scribe support to streamline documentation.

About the facility
This is a well-established, physician-owned medical group with 100+ providers and more than 35 locations throughout the region. The organization is affiliated with two residency programs, a medical school, and a physician assistant school , and maintains a robust clinical trials program .
Despite its substantial size and resources, the practice maintains a setting in which physicians and advanced practice providers can develop meaningful patient relationships and practice with a high degree of autonomy. Compensation:
$140,000–$180,000 annually, depending on years of GI experience and credentials.

Job Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with a variety of gastrointestinal conditions.
Develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide preventive screening consultations and follow-up care.
Perform patient consultations in both outpatient clinic and hospital settings .
Coordinate pre-procedure and post-procedure care for endoscopic procedures.
Collaborate closely with gastroenterologists and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic studies.
Prescribe medications in accordance with clinical needs and applicable regulations.
Provide comprehensive patient education.
Maintain accurate, detailed electronic medical records.
