About the Position

Position Overview

HPA Healthcare is seeking an experienced  Physician Assistant – General Surgery/Surgical First Assist  for a locum tenens opportunity in  Potsdam, New York  beginning December 2026.

This assignment combines  OR Surgical First Assist responsibilities with inpatient surgical floor coverage . The PA will primarily support General Surgery, OB/GYN, and Orthopedic patients and should have strong first-assist skills and  robotic surgery experience .

The assignment offers ongoing PRN scheduling with a combination of  10- and 12-hour clinical shifts , plus optional weeknight and weekend call.

Provider Pay: $150/hour , with additional compensation available for overtime, holidays, call, and callback.
