Unitex is experiencing unprecedented growth! Due to this growth, we are in search of an Onsite Linen Supervisor at our customer site at Bronx Lebanon Hospital.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

Compensation
:
The salary range for this position is $68,000 to $68,000 per year. Actual compensation decisions are based on factors such as experience, seniority, location, and other permissible job-related factors.

Benefits include medical, dental and vision insurance, paid time off, 401(k), and other company-sponsored benefits.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Weekly inventory for all Bronx care locations
• Monthly trash audits
• Monthly EMS audits
• Trains new incoming nurses & PCTs on appropriate linen uses
• Conducts quarterly linen committee meetings
• Attends soil sampling on behalf of customer
• Completes linen daily tasks when short staffed
• Brings clean linen delivery and pushes out soil bins as needed
• Repairs Alex machines.
• Trains new staff on how to use Alex machines
• Reviews daily reports from the plant and makes linen adjustments needed
• When needed, travels to plants for linen pick up
• Monthly ordering of disposable pillows
• Creates and send daily end of shift reports
• Address all linen related issues for all Bronx care locations.
• Keep Inventory of scrubs and lab coats.

• 2+ years of experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish highly preferred
• Able to stand/walk/push for most of the 8 hour shift – this job is physical in nature and includes some lifting
• High degree of customer responsiveness
• Proven ability to manage to standards
• Excellent communications skills
• Reporting skills – Basic Excel skills are necessary
