About the Position

NAVIX Diagnostix, Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in Neptune, New Jersey . This is a part-time position working two days per week for a total of approximately 16 hours.

In this role, you will perform nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with NAVIX and client-site protocols with a high degree of independence .

You will prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, perform diagnostic nuclear medicine studies, operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, and produce high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining a strong focus on patient care and safety.

This position also plays an important role in radiation safety and regulatory compliance. You will follow appropriate procedures for the receipt, handling, administration, and disposal of radioactive materials; maintain required documentation; perform equipment quality control; and follow ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.

Success in this role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, sound clinical judgment, and the ability to work independently while providing an exceptional patient experience.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with NAVIX and client-site protocols
  • Prepare radiopharmaceuticals, calculate appropriate doses, and administer radioisotopes under physician direction
  • Prepare patients for examinations, explain procedures, and appropriately position patients for diagnostic studies
  • Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine studies using appropriate imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
