Due to the complex and challenging nature of ASD, our education and training model incorporates a one-to-one instructional approach facilitated by: ABA, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Social Skills Through Peer Instruction, and Family Training.

MCC is a partner in research and services with The Manhattan Behavioral Center, a growing clinical resource for families and people with autism and related disabilities.

Manhattan Children’s Center (MCC) is seeking a positive, dynamic Occupational Therapist that is interested in joining a therapeutic team where the goal is to offer every child the opportunity to thrive.

Full-Time Occupational Therapist for Center

Mon through Thurs 8:15 am-4:15 pm;
Fri 8:15am – 3:00pm

$73,000-$80,000 based on education, experience, and certifications.

• Individual treatment:
• Lower School:
  This includes working with a caseload of 16 students who receive two 30-minute sessions a week and providing lunch consultations and groups that consist of 120 minutes per week.
• Case management of assigned students, including required documentation. Documentation consists of but is not confined to: individual and group treatment notes, treatment plans and goals, sensory diets, semi-annual and annual progress reports,…
