Position:
Service Line Coordinator
Job summary:
The Service Line Coordinator supports the operational efficiency and patient experience for a designated specialty. This role coordinates scheduling, manages patient flow, supports providers, and ensures adherence to protocols. The coordinator acts as a liaison between clinical teams, patients, and administrative staff, facilitating communication and resolving issues. Additional responsibilities include data tracking, supporting quality initiatives, and assisting with regulatory compliance
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily clinic operations and patient scheduling
- Ensure timely follow-up on test results and care coordination
- Support providers with administrative and clinical needs
- Track and report on key performance and quality metrics
- Facilitate multidisciplinary meetings and case conferences
- Assist with prior authorizations and insurance documentation
- Identify and resolve patient care gaps
- KPIs:
- Patient throughput (number of patients seen per clinic/session)
- Test result follow-up within 48 hours
- Appointment scheduling accuracy and timeliness
