Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - PRN
Eastern Star Home and Campus | Oriskany, NY
$30-$35/hour | PRN
We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a PRN opportunity at Eastern Star Home and Campus. This flexible position is ideal for a PTA who enjoys hands-on rehabilitation and helping residents improve strength, mobility, balance, and everyday function.
What You'll Do- Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist residents with strengthening, balance, gait training, transfers, endurance, and mobility
- Carry out individualized treatment programs established by the supervising PT
- Monitor resident response to therapy and communicate progress to the clinical team
- Reinforce safe movement techniques and mobility strategies
Complete accurate and timely treatment documentation - Collaborate with rehabilitation staff and other members of the interdisciplinary team
- $30-$35/hour
- Flexible PRN scheduling

- Short-term rehabilitation and long-term care caseload
- Collaborative therapy team
- Opportunity to expand your clinical experience
- Active New York Physical Therapist Assistant license required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to providing quality, resident-centered care
- Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required
- New graduate PTAs are welcome to apply
