We are seeking an energetic, compassionate, and dependable Recreation Aide to join our team and help create meaningful and enjoyable experiences for our residents.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 9:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
- Assist with planning and leading recreational activities, games, social events, and group programs
- Encourage residents to participate and remain socially engaged
- Provide individual activities and companionship when appropriate
- Assist with setting up and cleaning activity areas
- Support special events, celebrations, and resident outings
- Maintain a safe, welcoming, and positive environment
- Complete required documentation and follow facility policies
- Previous experience in a long-term care setting or working with the geriatric population is strongly preferred
- Compassionate, patient, enthusiastic, and dependable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with residents, families, and staff
- Must be able to work the full Monday–Friday schedule
