Health Informatics Specialist

• Research, collect and analyze information
• Identify opportunities, develop solutions and lead through resolution
• Collaborate on performance improvement activities based on program efficiency and patient experience outcomes
• Distribute analytical reports
• Utilize multiple system applications to perform analysis, create reports and develop educational materials
• Apply Trinity Health policies, practices and processes to prioritize quality, confidentiality and safety
• Research and compile information for ad-hoc operational projects and initiatives
• Synthesize and analyze data and provide detailed summaries with graphical presentations illustrating trends
• Recommend practical options or solutions while considering business strategy and supporting leadership decision-making
• Leverage program and operational data and measurements to define and demonstrate progress, ROI and impacts
• Maintain working knowledge of applicable Federal, state and local laws and regulations, Trinity Health Integrity and Compliance Program, Code of Conduct, policies, procedures and guidelines

• Must possess a comprehensive knowledge of Health Informatics through a combination of education and experience
• At least two (2) years of experience in an informatics or related role
• Experience with clinical information systems and health information technology
• Basic understanding of clinical treatment modalities, educational principles, clinical information systems, accreditation and regulatory standards, and program development
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of change management principles
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of project management principles
• Must live near Trinity Location
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds unassisted
• Able to adapt to frequent interruptions, shifting priorities and stressful situations
• Able to understand and relate to complex ideas and concepts
• Able to work on concurrent tasks and projects
• Able to read small print and hear normal sounds and voice patterns
• Able to give and receive verbal instructions in person and via phone, computer, device or equipment
• Able to perform frequent manual dexterity activities and occasional grasping/handling
• Able to maintain a safe working environment and use available PPE

Demonstrates expertise in Health Informatics, with a strong ability to analyze data, develop solutions, and lead performance improvement initiatives. Proficient in project management and change management principles, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and organizational policies.
