Recreation Aid

As a Recreation Aid, you will be an integral part of our multidisciplinary team, responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating recreational programs and activities to enhance the overall well‑being of our residents.

As a Recreation Aid, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents by providing engaging activities, recreational programs, and social events. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to identify the needs and interests of our residents and develop programs that cater to their diverse backgrounds and abilities. Your creativity, enthusiasm, and passion for recreation will help foster a sense of community and social connection among our residents.

• Plan, organize, and implement recreational programs and activities, such as arts and crafts, games, exercise classes, and social events
• Conduct assessments to identify resident interests and abilities and develop programs accordingly
• Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure that recreational programs align with resident care plans and goals
• Provide assistance with daily living activities, such as grooming, bathing, and dressing, as needed
• Maintain accurate records of resident participation and program evaluations
• Develop and implement special events and activities, such as holiday celebrations and theme days
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of life for our residents
