Therapy Technician – City Point

Spear Physical and Occupational Therapy is seeking a qualified, passionate Therapy Technician to join the team at our City Point location in Downtown Brooklyn.

• Support patient care by preparing treatment areas, gathering equipment and materials, and performing procedures under the direct supervision of a Physical or Occupational Therapist.
• Maintain a high standard of clinical excellence while providing 5‑star customer service.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure patients receive comprehensive care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Help create a community environment for patients and staff.

• Previous customer service experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to multi‑task.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to grow.
• Athletic experience is a plus.
• Proactive, collaborative, and team‑oriented attitude.
• Passion for the field of physical and occupational therapy.
• Dedication to rehabilitating patients’ injuries and boosting their confidence and vitality.

• Requires manual dexterity and general strength and endurance.

• Lift routinely loads of 5–35 pounds from floor to waist, waist to shoulder, and shoulder to overhead.
• Carry routinely loads of 5–10 pounds for 40–50 feet.
• Push routinely loads of 5–150 pounds on casters, runners, or pulleys.
• Sustain a grip for 1–2 minutes of 40–50 pounds.
