• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments of patients' physical conditions, utilizing standardized evaluation protocols.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address each patient's unique needs and goals.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities to enhance recovery.
• Monitor patient progress closely and modify treatment plans as necessary to optimize results.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, maintaining functional independence, and the importance of physical therapy in recovery.
• Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for our patients.
• Participate in ongoing training programs and team meetings to share knowledge and improve service delivery.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with best practices and regulatory standards.

You will primarily work with a diverse client base, including adults recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your role will involve tailoring treatments for different demographics, from active athletes seeking rehabilitation to aged clients requiring mobility assistance. This variety allows you to leverage your skills in a comprehensive manner while making a meaningful impact on each patient's recovery journey.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New York.
• A minimum of three years of experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably within an outpatient environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively educate and motivate patients.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse healthcare teams.

While not mandatory, candidates with additional certifications or specialization in orthopedic rehabilitation, sports therapy, or manual therapy techniques will be given preference. Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and familiarity with evidence-based practice guidelines will also enhance your application.

The salary for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, reflecting your experience and qualifications.
