The Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) will serve as a field-based scientific and clinical expert for our psychiatry portfolio, building and maintaining strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), healthcare providers, policy influencers, and other stakeholders. This role will focus on engaging the medical community to communicate scientific data, provide clinical insights, and ensure that our research and development efforts align with real-world practice needs.

Additionally, this role will also help shape internal resources, training, and capabilities for the broader Field Medical Function The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of psychiatric disorders, a passion for science-driven conversations, and the ability to operate effectively in a small, fast-growing biotech environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and maintain trusted relationships with KOLs, clinical investigators, and key stakeholders across academic and clinical psychiatry
• Serve as the primary medical resource in the field, delivering accurate and balanced scientific information about our programs to facilitate high-quality scientific exchange
• Support scientific education at national and regional psychiatry conferences, advisory boards, and educational events
• Gather and communicate field insights to internal stakeholders to inform strategy and decision-making
• Provide clinical and scientific input to cross-functional teams, including R&D, Clinical Development, and Commercial
• Respond to unsolicited requests for medical information from healthcare professionals
• Monitor and report on competitor landscape
• Support clinical teams as needed with clinical trial site identification enrollment initiatives
• Support investigator-initiated trial (IIT) and Phase IV trial activities as needed
• Ensure all interactions are conducted in accordance with company policies, regulatory guidelines, and compliance requirements

• Serve as point person as needed with Government Affairs and HEOR to provide scientific and clinical expertise in policy discussions, public comment submissions, and stakeholder briefings
