Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Early Intervention
Location: Queens
Salary: $72-74 per 30-minute visit
Schedule: Contract | Flexible Caseload
Position OverviewA growing Early Intervention agency is seeking a NYS-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech-language evaluations and treatment to children from birth to age five in Jamaica, Woodhaven, and Howard Beach. This contract role offers a flexible caseload and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in children's everyday environments.
Key Responsibilities- Provide 1:1 speech-language evaluations and treatment sessions
- Deliver services in the child's home, daycare, or another natural environment
- Develop and follow individualized treatment plans aligned with Early Intervention goals
- Document each session and coordinate with the child's care team
- Current New York State Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Specific experience working with children under age five; general pediatric experience alone is not sufficient
- Comfort providing services in home- and daycare-based settings
- One year or more of experience specifically with young children is preferred; experienced candidates new to this age group may be considered for mentorship.
- Cases are available in Jamaica, Woodhaven, and Howard Beach.
