Postdoctoral Fellow

Join Uptown Psychology, a collaborative, evidence-based private practice in New York and Miami. You will strengthen core skills in CBT and DBT, gain guided experience with ERP for anxiety disorders, and learn parent-focused models such as PCIT, SPACE, and PMT. Expect supportive supervision, clear goals, and a culture that values thoughtful, organized, team-based care.

• Experience working with children, adolescents, and adults
• Familiar with parent-focused interventions such as PCIT, SPACE, or PMT
• Grounded in CBT and DBT principles
• Willing to work in a hybrid environment and on a team
• Kind, flexible, energetic, easy going, and eager to learn

• Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, School Psychology, or a combination, from an APA-accredited program
• Working toward New York State licensure in the next year

• Hybrid in NYC. Upper East Side in-person and virtual
• Two to three evenings per week

• Experience providing individual therapy for children, adults, and families
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapies, including CBT, DBT, and PCIT
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Strong foundation in treating anxiety disorders using exposure and response prevention
• Part-time or full-time designation in worksheet benefits. For postdoc year, plan for full-time training structure
• Weekly supervision with a licensed psychologist
• Administrative support and a training or conference budget
