Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Director of Rehabilitation to join our team at the Tupper Lake Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the rehabilitation services we provide to our residents, ensuring that we deliver high-quality care that meets the highest standards. • Oversee Rehabilitation Services: Direct and manage the rehabilitation department, including physical, occupational, and speech therapy services, ensuring that we meet the needs of our residents and exceed their expectations.

• Develop and Implement Rehabilitation Programs: Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans, ensuring that our residents receive the best possible care and achieve their goals.

• Manage Staff and Resources: Supervise and evaluate a team of rehabilitation professionals, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to deliver exceptional care.

• Monitor Quality and Outcomes: Track and analyze rehabilitation outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance the quality of care we provide.

• Foster Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other departments, including nursing, social services, and admissions, to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.

• Education: Licensure to practice therapy

• Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of rehabilitation professionals; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
