KeyQualifications
- Active School Psychologist credential (applicable state licensure required)
- Previous experience within school environments, particularly middle school, is highly valued
- Strong foundation in individual and group counseling practices
- Proficiency in conducting psychological evaluations and re-evaluations
- Familiarity with leading or participating in CSE (Committee on Special Education) meetings
- Demonstrated skills in crisis intervention and de-escalation
- Provide direct counseling services to middle school students, supporting their social-emotional growth
- Complete comprehensive psychological assessments and timely re-evaluations
- Serve as chairperson in CSE meetings, collaborating meaningfully with multidisciplinary teams
- Advise staff and families, offering actionable recommendations for students' academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Respond promptly to crisis situations with effective interventions to promote safety and wellbeing
- Contribute to a supportive, inclusive environment while working closely with fellow school psychologist and staff
