Resident Care Aide

We are currently seeking an energetic and dedicated Resident Care Aide to join our team.

Resident Care Aide Responsibilities

• Assist residents with memory impairment in completing daily tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing while maintaining their dignity and promoting independence.
• Ensure compliance with and understanding of all regulations regarding residents' rights.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of resident care.
• Immediately report changes in a resident's condition to the supervisor, including signs of illness, behavioral changes, unmet personal care needs, medication concerns, or unknown resident whereabouts.
• Promote and encourage residents to participate in community activities.

Resident Care Aide Education & Experience

• High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Personal Care Aide (PCA) certification preferred, or as required by law.
• One year of experience working in a caregiving capacity preferred.
• Compassion for and a genuine desire to work with older adults required.
