Home Health Aides (HHA) And Personal Care Aides (PCA)

Alvita Care is seeking Home Health Aides (HHA) and Personal Care Aides (PCA) in the Mount Sinai area, throughout Suffolk County. We are looking for compassionate and experienced caregivers, drivers are preferred.

Shifts are 1:1 private duty, homecare or facility bedside. We can be flexible with scheduling! Shifts are between 6 and 12 hours. All work is per-diem, with available schedules including part-time, full-time long-term, and short-term/fill-in hours.

• Certified New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) required
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Reliable, professional, and patient-centered
• Must maintain professionalism in all written and verbal communications
• Must have updated medicals/vaccinations or be willing to obtain them
• Prior home care experience strongly preferred
• Drivers preferred
• Completed drug screen or completed Habituation Form
• Must successfully complete the Alvita Care onboarding process before accepting cases

* Subject to one year of employment and 1,560 hours worked (average of 30 hours/week).

** Subject to one year of employment and 1,000 hours worked (average of 20 hours/week).

As we continue to grow, we are seeking dedicated caregivers for both private-duty one-on-one care and facility-based care.

All applicants will complete a phone screening to determine compatibility and availability. Please note that cases are only available to caregivers who successfully complete the Alvita Care onboarding process.
