Program Therapist

Monday–Friday with occasional evening & weekend coverage BALANCE eating disorder treatment center™ is seeking a Program Therapist to join our growing team!

The Primary Therapist position is an important part of treatment at BALANCE in individual and
group therapy. A primary therapist’s duties include completing clinical assessments, case management, discharge and aftercare planning, providing therapeutic meal support, and coordinating care with other members of the client’s referring treatment team.

• Lead psychotherapy groups, including CBT/DBT, body image, and family groups
• Lead Therapeutic meals, including pre-meal and post-meal processing groups
• Individual Case Management and coordination
• Attend all rounds, staff meetings, and group supervisions
• Complete all required clinical notes
  related to program
• Conduct intake assessments as needed
• Provide team coverage as needed
• Be on-call several nights a week on a rotating basis
• Additional responsibilities as requested

• Experience working with eating disorders is preferred

• Passionate about eating disorders prevention and intervention
• LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, LMSW
• Knowledge of HAES and Intuitive Eating
• Dynamic, flexible, team player, takes initiative
• Eager to grow with a quickly expanding company
• Vacation: 10 days per year

Salary: $60,000-$75,000 per year*

* Compensation is based on experience and qualifications (leadership history, clinical experience,
insurance knowledge, supervision experience, and the amount of eating disorder treatment
experience)
