Lucid Dermatology is a well-established dermatology practice dedicated to providing comprehensive skincare solutions to our patients. Our group of skilled dermatologists and passionate team members are dedicated to providing excellent patient care and fostering a friendly and welcoming environment. We are now seeking an enthusiastic receptionist to join our team and serve as our patients' initial point of contact.
As a receptionist at Lucid Dermatology, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive and efficient experience for our patients. You will be responsible for managing the front desk, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, handling inquiries, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities- Welcome and greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage patient check‑in and check‑out processes, ensuring accurate and up‑to‑date patient information.
- Schedule patient appointments, confirming and rescheduling as necessary.
- Answer phone calls, address patient inquiries, and provide information about our services.
- Verify insurance information and assist patients with any billing or payment questions.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry.
- Assist in maintaining and updating patient records and electronic health records (EHR/EMR).
- Stay HIPAA compliant, maintain patient privacy, and follow all security and privacy guidelines.
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is required; derm experience is a plus.
- Mod Med/EMA EMR experience is also a plus.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education or training in healthcare administration is a plus.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in using office software, including scheduling and EHR/EMR systems.
- Ability to multitask and handle a high volume of patient interactions.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Part‑Time
PayFrom $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours20 - 40 per week
