Part Time, Education Level: High School/GED, Salary Range: $22.13 - $22.13 Hourly, Job Shift: Overnight
The Residential Aide is responsible for ensuring client safety, providing direct care services and maintaining building safety during shift hours at the residential site.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Monitors, screens, and oversees all families assigned to the family shelter.
- Responsible for safety and security of all families assigned to the family shelter.
- Works closely with the case management staff to meet the needs of the families.
- Assists families in developing their ADL skills, housekeeping as needed.
- Complete unit inspections and documentation
- Clean, sanitize and prepare kitchen area for residents
- Warm up food for residents and serve meals as needed
- Remove trash and document food discarded
- Complete temperature log for refrigerators
- Monitor families for adherence to program and hotel rules.
- Responds to family health and mental health needs as needed.
- Complete wellness checks
Position requires a High School Diploma and a food handlers license. Previous experience with the homeless population a plus. Needs ability to establish workload priorities. Must have exceptional communication skills both orally and in writing with individuals and groups regarding complex and sensitive issues or regulations. Physical ability to perform the essential job functions are needed. In addition, the Residential Aide shall perform any duties as required to meet the new needs of the program and the clients we serve.
