The Lead Caregiver serves as a shift leader in senior care facilities, ensuring high-quality, personalized resident care while coaching and supporting the caregiving team.

Key Responsibilities- Lead shift assignments, manage attendance, and coordinate coverage to maintain smooth operations
- Provide hands‑on assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as needed
- Coach caregivers on quality standards, hospitality, and proper documentation
- Review charting to ensure compliance with Individualized Service Plans (ISP)
- Monitor resident health changes and communicate concerns promptly
- Support onboarding and mentor new team members
- Promote safety, adherence to regulations, and effective shift transitions
- High School Diploma or GED; age 18+
- CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications
- Strong communication, delegation, and decision‑making skills
- Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care settings
Professionalism, accountability, compassion, leadership, and the ability to model excellent caregiving practices.
