Community Medical Facility is in need of a Medical Assistant

Monday Through Friday

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Bilingual Spanish Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish and will assist healthcare providers in delivering high‑quality patient care while ensuring effective communication with Spanish‑speaking patients.

• Greet and prepare patients for examinations and procedures

• Translate and interpret communication between providers and Spanish‑speaking patients

• Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and symptoms

• Assist physicians during exams and minor procedures

• Schedule appointments and manage patient records

• Administer medications and injections as directed by the provider

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms

• Handle basic administrative duties such as answering phones and verifying insurance

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations

• High school diploma or equivalent required;
  Medical Assistant certification preferred

• Fluency in both English and Spanish (spoken and written) required

• Previous experience in a medical or clinical setting preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Knowledge of medical terminology

• Ability to multitask and work in a fast‑paced environment

• Cultural sensitivity and patient‑centered care
