Monday - Friday 8:30PM-5:00PM one Saturday a month and one late night 11:00AM-7:30PM
We are seeking a friendly and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team at our Hopewell Junction location. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the medical office.
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries.
- Verify patient information and update medical records accurately.
- Collect and process patient co-pays and other payments.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Handle confidential patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with insurance verification and billing processes as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in medical administration is a plus.
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar administrative role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard office software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is an advantage.
