Required Qualifications- High School Diploma/GED
- 1+ year of clerical experience
- Strong telephone and computer skills
- Knowledge of health insurance benefits and eligibility
- Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT-4 coding
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
- Register and greet patients professionally.
- Enter and verify patient demographic and insurance information.
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits.
- Schedule appointments and medical procedures.
- Process authorizations and physician requisitions.
- Collect co-pays and maintain accurate financial records.
- Coordinate medical records and required documentation.
