PHTI is seeking an Associate to help drive the execution of rigorous, evidence-based assessments of innovative digital health technologies. This role will play a crucial part in PHTI’s clinical evidence review process including scoping systematic literature reviews, evaluating study design and quality, synthesizing outcomes across a broad evidence base, and translating findings into clear, consumable deliverables. The Associate will also support executive-facing presentations and report drafting, and will help manage external vendors supporting the assessment process.

More specifically, the responsibilities include:

Assist in all aspects of PHTI report creation in collaboration with senior team members, including:

• Help define and scope the systematic literature review for each assessment.
• Review clinical studies for design, methodology, and quality.
• Draft clinical hypothesis to guide the assessment and conduct analysis to test them against the available evidence.
• Extract, organize, and synthesize outcomes and findings across a broad set of studies into coherent narratives.
• Review evidence submitted directly by companies as part of the assessment process.
• Maintain organization of study data, findings, and related materials across internal teams throughout the assessment process.
• Draft sections of PHTI’s reports translating clinical evidence into clear language for non-clinical audiences.
• Project manage key report production processes.
• Stay current on emerging trends, players, policy and best practices in digital health and related fields.
• Help drive other initiatives or projects outside of core assessments in current or emerging digital health technology topics.

• Assist in building collateral for public dissemination.
• Create materials to drive engagement with key partners.
• Contribute to report writing based on literature review findings
• Contribute to the creation of documents, presentations, and other collateral for conferences, advisory board and partner meetings, and webinars.

• Support engagement with external partners to drive project execution including communications, coordination, and meeting participation.
• Engage with clinical advisors to inform assessment scope, evidence review, and interpretation of findings.
• Engage with companies under assessment to discuss submitted studies and evidence.
• Partner with internal functional expert teams such as policy and communications to drive PHTI’s objectives.
• Support an internal culture of learning and strategic decision making in service of organizational mission.
• Contribute to a culture of inquiry, experimentation, understanding of and tolerance for risk, and a commitment to continuous learning.
