• A Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) technologist performs all required exams in the MRI Department while assuring high-quality patient care and adequate MR Safety protection at all times.
• The MRI Technologist must be responsible for On-Call duties and be available to respond within the timeframe outlined in the Radiology Policy and Procedure Guidelines.
• The MRI Technologist will also be required to perform intravascular contrast media injections as defined in Section 89.40 in Part 89 Practice of Radiologic Technology.

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Successful completion of formal training program in Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
• 1 year of experience in MRI.
• Must possess high degree of knowledge and understanding in services and technology.
• Registered by the ARRT in MRI within 6 months of hire.
• Must be Diagnostic registered with certification to administer contrast media from New York State.
• Must be BLS certified from the American Heart Association.
