Job Description

This contract opportunity supports K-12 students across a diverse age range, offering the chance to foster well-being, provide behavioral and emotional guidance, and collaborate closely with school staff and families.

Required Qualifications:

• Active New York School Psychologist certification
• Experience or strong interest in working with K-12 populations
• Solid understanding of child and adolescent development
• Strong communication, consultative, and documentation skills
• Ability to work onsite five days per week with a full-time schedule

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine student needs and eligibility for special services
• Develop and implement intervention strategies to support student learning, behavior, and social-emotional growth
• Collaborate with teachers, school counselors, administrators, and families to address student challenges
• Support the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
• Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with federal, state, and district requirements
