Job SummaryJoin the Northeast Center for Rehabilitation and Brain Injury, a one-of-a-kind state-of-the-art Skilled Nursing Facility in Lake Katrine, New York, as we seek a compassionate and skilled Rehab Aide to support our patients in their journey towards recovery and independence. Our 39-acre campus offers a unique and vibrant environment, designed to promote cognitive, physical, and social skills. As a Rehab Aide, you will play a crucial role in our multidisciplinary team, providing daily support and care to our patients.
Responsibilities- Perform a range of clerical tasks, including data entry, attendance recording, and supply management
- Support physical, occupational, and speech therapy sessions, including ROM exercises, ambulation, and other functional programs
- Transport patients to and from therapy sessions
- Assist the rehab department with various tasks and programs as needed
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and supplies
- Perform office duties, such as answering phones and communicating with other departments
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- CNA Certification (paid training available!)
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Full-time, Monday-Friday, day shifts
- Dependable, adaptable to change, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
