Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team and support the delivery of high-quality occupational therapy services. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help individuals achieve greater independence and improved quality of life through therapeutic interventions tailored to their specific needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement treatment plans/IEP's with exceptional supervision from a licensed Occupational Therapist.
Assist clients in improving functional skills in areas such as fine motor development, daily living activities, sensory integration, and adaptive behavior.
Monitor client progress, document outcomes, and report observations to the supervising OT.
Educate clients and caregivers on exercises, activities, and use of adaptive equipment to support therapy goals.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with organizational, state, and federal guidelines.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support holistic care and goal-setting.
Participate in team meetings, in-service training, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications:

Required:

Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Current state certification/licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
NBCOT certification, if applicable
Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.

Preferred:

Experience in pediatrics/schools preferred
Bilingual (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin) a plus.
