Lab Corp is seeking a Phlebotomist
- Bilingual Float to join our team in Suffern, NY (Rockland/Westchester County).
Needs to be able to travel to the following cities:
Suffern, Nanuet, Pomona, & New City
Needs to be able to travel & provide coverage when required:
New Rochelle & Yonkers
Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday, as early as 6:30am and as late as 4:30pm, rotating Saturdays, as early as 7am and as late as 2pm.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
- Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
- Process billing information and collect payments when required
- Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs
- Provide superior customer service to all patients
- Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
- Travel to additional sites when needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or a completed training program from an accredited agency
- 1 year or more of active phlebotomy experience
- Bilingual in English and Spanish

- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication (listening, verbal, and written)
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record with reliable transportation
- Be at least 21 years old

As a Float Phlebotomist, you will have the opportunity to quickly gain a vast amount of experience. You will work with a variety of patients, team members, and clinics/locations. Pay Range: $16.07/hour to $27.77/hour
Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics
Float Incentive:
Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement
