• Promote patient safety through vigilant observation, monitoring, and reporting.
• Build therapeutic relationships that support recovery and reinforce patient-centered care.
• Assist patients with daily activities while encouraging independence, dignity, and engagement in their treatment plans.
• Recognize and respond appropriately to signs of distress, anxiety, or behavioral changes.
• Record vital signs and other key clinical information that informs multidisciplinary treatment decisions.
• Contribute to a culture of compassion, collaboration, and continuous improvement in patient outcomes.

This is a full-time 8 hours, day/evening rotating shift position (7:00 am - 11:30 pm), includes working rotating weekends (Saturday/Sunday) at the NYP/Westchester Behavioral Health.

Ideal candidates aspire to careers or degrees in social work or psychiatry. A college degree and at least one year of psychiatry-related experience

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association - AHA)
• Maintenance of Basic Life Support certification
• Demonstrate commitment to continued learning & orientation completion

Salary Range: $30.65-$36.15/Hourly
