Buttercup Personal Care Agency is hiring compassionate and dependable Caregivers/Personal Care Aides (PCAs) to provide high-quality, non-medical care to clients in their homes. This role is essential in helping clients maintain independence, dignity, and comfort while receiving personalized support.
Key Responsibilities- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including:
- Bathing, grooming, and hygiene
- Dressing and toileting
- Mobility assistance and safe transfers
- Provide homemaker and support services:
- Light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, general cleaning)
- Meal preparation and feeding assistance
- Grocery shopping and errands
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with medication reminders (no administration)
- Observe and report changes in client condition to supervisor
- Follow individualized care/service plans
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided
- Ensure a safe, respectful, and clean home environment
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous caregiving or home care experience preferred (but not required)
- Willingness to complete required Indiana training (if applicable)
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong observation and reporting skills
- Physically able to assist with lifting, transfers, and mobility
- Flexible scheduling (PRN, part-time, full-time)
