* Job Description:

** Authorization Specialist is an essential component of the certified agency team. The HMO Authorization Specialist is responsible for requesting authorization for home care services for patients with HMO/Managed Care payment sources and acts as a liaison between community-based COC (Coordinators of Care) and the HMO/Managed Care Companies.  
** Requirements:
*** High School Diploma
* Must have homecare & managed care experience
* Knowledge about health insurance verification
* Ability to communicate both in writing and verbally required.
* Computer Literacy
* Proficiency in Word and Excel required.
