Residential Counselor (CASAC or CASAC - T)
LocationAstoria, NY (Onsite)

- Mon-Fri 03:00pm-11:00pm
- One Weekend Rotation
Pay Range: $50,000-$55,000 Per Year
Description- Join our team as a Residential Counselor in Astoria, NY, where you'll provide individual and group counseling in a 24-hour residential treatment setting.
- This full-time position requires a CASAC or CASAC-T certification and offers an opportunity to make a lasting impact on clients' recovery journeys.
- The role involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and requires regular evening shifts.
- CASAC or CASAC-T certification required
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Critical thinking and judgment skills
- Experience in substance abuse treatment or related service delivery system
- Bachelor's degree in behavioral or social sciences plus 1 year of experience
- Associate's degree in behavioral or social sciences plus 2 years of experience
- High school diploma plus 3 years of paid experience in drug rehabilitation
