Job Description: Float Ultrasound Technologist
- Urology
Location: Brooklyn/Manhattan, NY
Hours: 5/8.5 hour shifts, Monday
- Friday (between 7:30am-6:00pm)
Organization: New York Imaging (NYI)
In This Role, You Will:- Perform a wide range of urology related ultrasound exams including, renal, bladder, prostate and small parts in an outpatient setting
- Prepare preliminary written impressions and communicate results to on site urologists
- Maintain and document regular equipment maintenance
- Review and execute current lab protocols and assure emergent tests are expedited
- Assist doctors with outpatient-related procedures/biopsies.
- Follow and understand all radiology policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Demonstrate excellent communication, organization, and computer skills
- Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or equivalent ARDMS (AB) certification required
- Bachelor's or Associate’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
- Urology ultrasound experience is a plus
Salary: Starting at $48/hr
