East Meadow- Companion Aide

Comfort Touch Health Agency, a leading provider of compassionate home care and companion care services for seniors across Long Island, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Companion Aide to join our team in East Meadow, NY. As a Companion Aide, you will provide emotional support, light physical assistance, and a comforting presence to help aging adults maintain independence and dignity in the comfort of their own homes.

• Provide non-medical services, including companionship, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and running errands for seniors with varying needs
• Offer emotional support and a listening ear to clients with Alzheimer's, dementia, and other cognitive conditions
• Assist with daily tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and errands, as needed
• Establish and maintain a positive and respectful relationship with clients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other caregivers to ensure seamless care and support
• Use your own transportation to travel to client homes and appointments

• Must have your own transportation
• Prior experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred, but not required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to caring for seniors
• Ability to adapt to changing client needs and circumstances
