Mental Health Technician

Monte Nido & Affiliates, LLC is seeking a compassionate Mental Health Technician to support clients in our specialized eating disorder treatment programs. In this Healthcare & Medical Services role, you will provide direct client care, support therapeutic activities, assist with meals, and monitor client safety while maintaining accurate documentation. You’ll collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary clinical team in a supportive, recovery-focused environment that values empathy, integrity, and professional growth through meaningful, client-centered work.

• Provide direct support to clients in a residential eating disorder treatment setting
• Monitor clients’ safety, behavior, and adherence to treatment plans
• Assist with meals, snacks, and therapeutic milieu activities
• Document observations accurately in EHR per clinical and regulatory standards
• Support therapeutic groups under licensed staff direction
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and dietitians to reinforce treatment goals
• Assist in crisis prevention and de-escalation using trauma-informed approaches
• Maintain a clean, safe, and recovery-focused environment
• Model healthy boundaries, empathy, and respectful communication
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing training to enhance clinical skills
