Our Client is seeking DSP/Residential Aide to work in the Oakland Gardens area .
CLIENT'S AVAILABLE SCHEDULE- Mon-Fri 8:30am-3:30pm
- The Direct Support Professional (DSP) is responsible for implementing person-centered services for each individual. This includes ensuring implementation of the individual’s services, goals and outcomes in relation to program-based and community inclusion activities. In addition, the Direct Support Professional is directly responsible for the individual’s overall physical and emotional well-being.
- High School Diploma or its equivalent
- Minimum of one (1) year experience working with the DDD population
- Possess strong teaching skills with emphasis on individuals who are emotionally, behaviorally, physically and/or developmentally challenged
- Ability to complete and pass clearances
- Experience in the principles and application of Applied Behavior Analysis (preferred)
- Establish a relationship with one of the largest referral agencies for behavioral-health
- Compensated weekly
